Why HEALTH ACCESS CONNECT
Long distances and high transportation costs to the nearest health facility lead to higher rates of preventable illnesses and death among vulnerable men, women, and children in remote areas.
HAC utilizes motorcycle taxis to transport health workers and medicines to remote communities for monthly one-day outreach clinics.
At the outreach clinics, the health services provided include antiretroviral therapy, family planning, immunizations, maternal health services, and others.
Our model involves partnering with District Health Offices, Government Health Facilities and Community Health workers, also known Village Health Teams to set up sustainable grassroot outreaches
